Angola Meeting: Hamburg, Germany, 23 October

A short overview

The Angolan Part forms the dominant part of the Okavango catchment. During fieldwork, many working groups have had experiences on the special natural conditions, on the dependency of local people on the ecosystem services, on the management of areas under land use and on the views of stakeholders on future development and our potential role supporting them. The meeting was targeting to exchange the experiences gained and to improve our shared knowledge about the social-ecological systems within the Angolan part of the catchment.
