The final event of the TFO Final Dissemination Tour took place on Monday, 27th July 2015 in Huambo. The event was hosted by the Faculty of Agriculture (FCA) of José Eduardo dos Santos University (UJES) in collaboration with ISCED-Huíla in Lubango. About 30 participants attended the event, representing the academic institutions from Huambo, Bié, Cuando-Cubango, Huíla and Luanda. Representatives of relevant ministries, provincial departments of agriculture, water and forestry and research institutes were also present at the event.

Welcome addresses were given by Dra Virgínia Lacerda Quartin on behalf of Dr. Cristovão Simões, the rector of UJES, followed by the general introduction to the TFO-project given by Prof. Norbert Jürgens. Several presentations with key findings on different topics such as agriculture, water, forest/forest conservation, governance and future trends focusing mainly on studies from the Chitembo area but also on the Okavango Delta and the transnational resource management, were jointly presented by Angolan, Botswana and German colleagues. The final speech has been given by the Vice-Governor of Huambo, Dr. Guilherme Tuluca, representing the Governor (see program).

Afterwards the TFO products have been distributed and the participatory film on honey production produced in the Chitembo area with the para-ecologists was exhibited. The end of the event was marked by a guided tour through the laboratories at FCA and IIA.
