The next venues of the TFO Final Dissemination Tour were Rundu and Mashare in Namibia.

On Monday, July 20th, 2015 the technical workshop on the Final Synthesis Report took place in Rundu. There, representatives of regional government agencies, traditional authorities as well as non-governmental organizations were invited to discuss the key findings and recommendations of the Future Okavango research project as compiled in the Final Synthesis Report. The workshop was chaired by Vera de Cauwer, Polytechnic of Namibia, and presentations were jointly given by Namibian, Botswanan and German TFO-colleagues.

On Tuesday, July 21st, 2015 more than 90 local farmers were invited to a workshop with subsequent field visit at the TFO-core site of Mashare. Firstly, presentations on possible improvements of agriculture were given, then, the stakeholder products were handed over to the headmen of Mashare and Mupampa as well as to the Hompa of Calai (local traditional authorities). In the afternoon, demonstrations on conservation agriculture (CA) and sustainable charcoal production as soil amendment were presented by conservation agriculture farmers trained by TFO.
