The meeting of the Scenario Task Force in Berlin was the forth in a series of workshops to facilitate the building of future scenarios of land use change in the Okavango River Basin. These scenarios are an essential part of TFO’s research and aim to synthesize and communicate TFO research results so as to support decision making by stakeholders.

The main outcomes included a process for bottom-up analysis for driver-ESS-relationships and the identification of 11 indirect drivers based on the following criteria: uncertainty, importance and probability of influence.
